The Horks triumph at last
After years of physical, mental and spiritual abuse, the Hillbillies, Slytherins, Hawx, Horks finally knocked the bastard off and won their first Tāne Mahuta in a year that also saw the Magpies return to the summit of the all-time standings.
Overnight leaders tied with the Magpies, the Horks led by tournament champion Larry Bonding won five of their singles matches to claim a historic win. One of the pre-tournament favourites to win, the Horks have finally shaken off their hillbilly roots under the leadership and coaching of inspirational captain Henry Gate.
