Falcon concerns about a fiasco fermented with three Falcons in the bottom four effectively ruling them out of the teams trophy with an exciting finish ahead with the Magpies on 7 points ahead of both the Hawx and the defending champions the Swans.
With Falcons becoming Swans and Hawx becoming Magpies, day 2 is setup to be one of the most exciting in Woodpecker history with any of the top 10 in with a chance of taking the trophy. (As it turned out, Muftitt flew home from 15th to take the trophy)
Dr Zooce said that he was excited to be looking at trophy number 2 and a plan to take the 2027 event to Taihape and is the TAB favourite to emulate Long Strokes as a double champion.
