Itinerary
Thursday 3rd April
- 2pm – 3.30pm- Check in at Pauanui Pines Motor lodge (PP) – 174 Vista Paku, Pauanui.
- 3.30pm Travel to Lakes Resort Golf Course – Car pool from Pauanui Pines Motor Lodge.
- 3.45pm- Hikuai Team Challenge Cup – 4 x Teams (Falcons, Magpies, Hawks, Swans)
- Hikuai Team Challenge 1) Pooling, 2) Darting, 3) Swinging
- Venue – Lakes Resort Clubhouse – Woodpecker (WP) snacks, Pay your own (PYO) beverage
- 6.30pm – Return to Pauanui Pines.
- Social time at Pauanui Pines
- 8.00pm – Dinner & Beverage in Pauanui Centre (3 min walk/55 sec sprint from PP)
- Several local dinner options available
Friday 4th April
- 8am-10am- Breakfast PYO- The Woodpecker breakfast supplier of choice JK’s Kitchen (3 min work/55 sec sprint away) Great coffee. You can also make breakfast in your cabin or crank up the BBQ
- 10.30am – Bus departure from Pauanui.
- Hikuai Team Challenge 4) Hurling
- Venue – Tairua Golf Course- Tee off at 11.30am at Tairua Golf Course (off the 1st and 12th)
- 11 carts available & trundlers available for hire PYO (1 x cart available for each playing group of four)
- Following the round Social time in Tairua Golf Club with WP snacks & beer for jug skulls provided.
- 6.30pm – Bus departure from Tairua Golf Club
- In Transit – Hikuai Team Challenge 5) Jumping and 6) Throwing.
- 8pm – WP Dinner & Social time at Pauanui Pines. Hikuai Challenge Cup Celebrations.
Saturday 5th April
- 8am-10am – Breakfast PYO- The Woodpecker breakfast supplier of choice JK’s Kitchen (3 min work/55 sec sprint away) Great coffee. You can also make breakfast in your cabin or crank up the BBQ
- 11.15am- Bus departure from Pauanui.
- Venue – Lakes Resort Golf Course
- Tee off at 11.45am at Lakes Resort Golf Course.
- 22 carts available PYO
- Woodpecker Individual & Team Winners confirmed & announced
- 5pm – Unfortunately there is a function in the Lakes Clubhouse during the afternoon involving high profile local dignitaries and politicians. We have kindly agreed to respect their privacy and space by applying courteous and well – mannered behaviour at all times.
- 5.00pm – Bus departs Lakes Resort Golf Course
- 5.15pm – WP Celebrations and Social time at Pauanui Pines.
- 7.00pm – Woodpecker Awards and Speeches at Pauanui Pines
- 8.00pm – Saturday Evening Party.
Sunday 6th April
